Rio de Janeiro wants to attract suppliers on the oil sector

The State Department of Economic Development, Energy, Industry and Services of Rio de Janeiro wants to attract suppliers of subsea equipment, on the oil and gas sector, to attend Petrobras and other companies of the same area. A group was created, with the participation of Petrobras, to draft a plan to bring to the State the chain of suppliers that produce equipment for Petrobras. In order to achieve this purpose, Rio de Janeiro’s government may make available lands, infrastructure and financings. According to the State Department, this initiative will allow the expansion of the industrial sector of equipment for maritime use.
