ANP fará leilão de áreas exploratórias em 2014

O governo mudou sua estratégia e decidiu realizar em 2014 um novo leilão de áreas exploratórias. A concorrência, ainda sem data definida, vai ofertar áreas inativas com acumulações marginais e blocos exploratórios em bacias maduras. A licitação terá como objetivo aumentar a participação de empresas de pequeno e médio porte nas atividades de E&P no país. A ANP já começa a discutir as áreas que serão apresentadas ao Conselho Nacional de Política Energética (CNPE) na primeira reunião do ano, que está prevista para junho.

ANP will promote a bid of exploratory areas in 2014
The Federal Government has changed its strategy and decided to promote in 2014 a new bid of exploratory areas. The bid, which has not yet a fixed date, will offer inactive areas with marginal accumulation and exploratory blocks in mature basins. The purpose of such bid is to increase the participation of small and medium companies on the exploration and production activities in Brazil. ANP already began the discussion regarding the areas that will be submitted to the National Council for Energy Policy (“CNPE”) on the first meeting of the year, which is expected to be held in June.
