Marcus Vinicius de Almeida Francisco

With more than 15 years of experience in legal advice and litigation, Marcus has in-depth knowledge of federal, state, and municipal taxation.

The partner also has experience in judicial and administrative tax litigation, mainly in Federal Regional Courts and Higher Courts.

Marcus has solid experience in drafting lawsuits and legislative petitions to amend tax legislation in several Brazilian states for incentives and extensive experience in conducting meetings, hearings and events with public and governmental authorities on the implementation of tax incentives and other regulatory acts related to the improvement of tax fines, as well as ancillary obligations.

• Bachelor’s degree in law from Universidade Estácio de Sá (2009).
• Postgraduate in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (2011).
• Postgraduate in Customs Law from the Universidade Cândido Mendes (2016).
