Agreement between IBP and Ibama may expedite the licensing process
The Coast Cleaning and Protection Project, which was presented on April 2, at the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (“IBP”) shall take the licensing process for the oil&gas area into a higher level of information and transparency. The project consists in a geo-referenced information system comprising 7,000 km of the Brazilian coastal area, with data, photos, logistic and sensitive information. This collection of data is part of an agreement for technical cooperation executed into by and between IBP and the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Resources (“Ibama”).
