A campanha da Petrobras no Parecis-Alto Xingu começa a dar resultados. Atualmente, a companhia perfura o primeiro poço pioneiro em áreas arrematadas naquela bacia, durante a 10ª rodada, em 2008, e já registrou descobertas de gás natural em diferentes seções. O poço 1-BRSA-1204-MT atingiu mais de 5 mil metros de profundidade. Ao todo, a Petrobras tem em seu portfólio 100% de quatro blocos na região: PRC-T-106, PRC-T-121, PRC-T-123 e PRC-T-122, sendo neste último o local da perfuração do BRSA-1204-MT. Outras duas áreas foram arrematadas no leilão de 2008, porém devolvidas em 2013 sem que poços fossem perfurados.
Petrobras registers first discoveries in Parecis
Petrobras’ campaign in Parecis-Alto Xingu starts to give results. Currently, the company drills the first pioneer well in areas acquired in such basin, during the 10th Bidding Round and has already registered discoveries of natural gas in different sections. The well 1-BRSA-1204-MT reached more than 5 thousand meters of depth. In total, Petrobras has on its portfolio 100% of the four blocks on the area: PRC-T-106, PRC-T-121, PRC-T-123 and PRC-T-1222, being this last located on the drilling area of BRSA-1204-MT. Another two areas were purchased on the auction of 2008, but they were reverted back on 2013 without the drilling of the wells.
